About Me

I have been in practice for several decades, and have continued to grow professionally as the field of psychology has progressed and advanced.

My training combines of a solid understanding of human development, relationships and attachment theory with newer techniques that integrate the mind/body connection and neurobiology. I have experience, and am able to integrate EMDR, Somatic Experiencing (SE) , Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Mindfulness into our work together depending on your needs.

My professional and personal experience has shown me that changing ourselves and our lives is possible. I have seen that, while we can’t control everything that happens to us, facing our challenges with an openness to learning allows us to develop a greater sense of meaning and purpose in our lives.

My style is interactive, and I combine warmth, compassion and insight with problem solving and coping strategies. My intention is to help you increase your level of self awareness by working with you to identify and optimize your strengths, while responding, rather than reacting, to life's stressors. I will work with you help you create a more comfortable, meaningful and productive life

Therapy is a step toward learning about yourself, improving relationships, healing and recognizing opportunities. I look forward to joining you on your journey.
